We use 2 types of yarn for our knitting patterns for clothing for Bratz, Barbie, Action Man and HM Armed Forces toys. One type includes fashion yarns that have great visual qualities and are usually made from synthetic materials. The other type uses cotton yarn that is perhaps more eco-friendly to the environment.
Currently these 2 types of yarn are not interchangeable.

Also required
Snap Fasteners
The 7 mm / 0.25 inch size is big enough for little fingers to use, yet small enough so as not to show too much. Good for Hand / Eye coordination too!
You will require a needle and thread to attach these to the items. Technically, this is not good practice, because, by sewing the snap fastener onto the item, the needle will undoubtedly split the yarn.
